SOCIAL PLAY
Club Nights
Monday & Wednesday from 6pm for Adults and Students members, all standards welcome, however Club Nights are not suitable for beginners. Juniors can play on Club Night at the invitation of an adult member.

BEGINNERS
Rusty Racquets and Beginners
11.30pm - 2pm on Saturdays are for beginners and for those who haven't played in a while. Contact Mike Tunnicliffe 01743 356274 for more information. Open to non members on a play and pay basis - £2.00 fee for each session attended.
CLUB TOURNAMENTS
Club Championship singles, and doubles take place around the second week in July
Motto Jones Shield for doubles and mixed doubles, second week in September. Trophies are awarded for all events.
Season Opening Tournament and Fun Tournaments The season opens in April with a 'no charge' round robin style tournament with excellent afternoon tea provided.

COUNTY LEAGUES
County Leagues and Inter Club Tournaments The Club has four men's teams and four women's teams in the Shropshire County League and four mixed teams in the Autumn League and Winter Woollies.
CHARITY TOURNAMENTS
Breast Cancer Care Tournament Open Tournament for Ladies Doubles - all proceeds go to charity.
Shrewsbury Hospital League of Friends Annual tournament - we co-host with Shrewsbury Lawn Tennis.
Air Ambulance Tennis Marathons - we have held two tennis marathons in support of this charity.
